FVV - Promotion of Young Talents

In recognition of his great merits for to the FVV we have renamed our Young Talent Award ETA in the HANS-DINGER-AWARD. With his outstanding knowledge of engineering Professor Dinger sets technical milestones for his company, MTU Friedrichshafen, and impacted the development of modern engine technology essentially. Early, he realized the chances of pre-competitive research for further development of the combustion engine and its special value for the education of engineers and the networking of science and industry. In almost all our projects there are young people involved who are standing at the start of their scientific careers. Their commitment and willingness to learn are indispensable for successful research projects. We will be awarding the HANS-DINGER-AWARD every two years to those talented young people who have made outstanding contributions to our projects with their studies. As well as the prize money, the three winners get the opportunity to take part in an important congress.
