On 23 June 2022, it's that time again: The Innovation Day for SMEs of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) will serve as a showcase for successful innovations and a communication platform for innovative SMEs, illustrating their wealth of ideas and the effectiveness of open-topic innovation funding // This year's Innovation Day for SMEs is planned as a face-to-face event on the open-air site of AiF Projekt GmbH in Berlin-Pankow
Under the claim »Change by Innovation«, numerous funding initiatives and programmes of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and their close interaction ›from the idea to market success‹ will be presented. This year's special focus is on future topics such as ecological innovations, digital technologies and health. Small and medium-sized enterprises and research institutions cooperating with them from all over Germany will present new products, processes and services whose development was funded by the federal government.
Visitors can expect a wide range of information on the funding of innovation projects that companies intend to carry out in individual company research and development or in cooperation with other companies or research institutions at home or abroad.
The event offers the opportunity to make contacts with companies and research institutions and to talk to representatives of politics and government in a relaxed atmosphere. The agenda for the day also includes a varied stage programme with thematic speed-pitch sessions, short lectures and discussion rounds on innovation policy topics as well as offers to support transnational cooperation. The extensive programme will be framed by interactive webinars on the BMWK's innovation funding and the offer of networking with future potential partners from research and business via a matchmaking platform.
