CfP | International P2X Conference 2020 powered by VDMA

The International Power-to-X (P2X) Conference “From Production to Application”, which will be held in Heidelberg on 27 October 2020, brings together plant manufacturers and users from different sectors to discuss technical challenges and barriers of future P2X technologies // Closing date for submission of papers is 16 March 2020 // The event is organised by the VDMA Working Group Power-to-X for Applications (P2X4A)

PtX technologies require an approach which covers the whole value chain. VDMA leads the way in this regard with the creation of the working group Power-to-X for Applications. P2X potentially plays a central role in sector coupling and the energy transition in transportation, heating and industry and is thus increasingly gaining importance. An early consideration of the technical challenges many stakeholders face is crucial in view of the likely market developments and respective policy frameworks. The conference offers the opportunity for plant manufacturers as well as suppliers and end-users to address these pressing technical questions.

With the working group “Power-to-X for Applications” (P2X4A) VDMA has already established a cross-sectoral platform for exchange and representation of interests in the area of production process development and the production of synthetic fuels and raw products via Power-to-X technologies. More information about the VDMA P2X4A can be found at p2x4a.vdma.org/en.

Technology providers and potential users of hydrogen and other P2X products alike are invited to participate in the conference with a presentation, short (max. 10 min) or long (20-30min), or engage in a discussion at the conference's World Café.

The organisers are looking forward to your application / paper by email to Lucien.beisswenger(at)vdma.org. The closing date for submissions is 16 March 2020.
